There is no age limit for climbing in the park, but our routes are categorized by height requirements.
For the easiest courses (yellow courses), you must be under 110 cm tall. These courses are built close to the ground so that an adult can walk alongside and help with equipment and obstacles.
If you are taller than 110 cm, you have access to the green and blue trails. If you are taller than 140 cm, you can also ski on our red trails and in Juvet. If you are taller than 160 cm, you have access to all the trails at Rypetoppen.
Pre-booked tickets must be redeemed by 1:00 p.m. to guarantee a harness upon arrival. After 1:00 p.m., all harnesses will be made available for walk-in sales, and you may have to wait for a harness to become available before entering the park.
Please note! Season passes/gift cards – are treated as regular tickets for drop-in visits to the park. This means that admission is not guaranteed if the park is full.
Yes, you can rebook your ticket to the climbing park up to 24 hours before arrival. This costs only 20 kr and can be selected as an add-on when you purchase your ticket on the website.
It takes a lot for us to have to close the park. During thunderstorms, we may have to close the park due to safety risks. Our Juvet area, which has the longest ziplines, may also occasionally have to be closed if the wind is too strong.
In such cases, force majeure applies, which means that no refunds will be issued for tickets that have already been purchased. However, it is not uncommon for us to reopen the park on the same day if the storm passes.
In the event of bad weather, force majeure applies. We have no control over the weather, and therefore no refunds will be issued due to bad weather.
However, it is possible to reschedule your ticket for another day. This costs only 20 kr and can be selected when you book your ticket to the park.

Safety is our top priority at Rypetoppen. All guests receive thorough instruction before they begin climbing, and our park staff are trained in various rescue techniques and are available in the park should assistance be needed.
We conduct regular inspections of all courses, ziplines, and safety systems to ensure that the facility always meets high standards. Through our dedicated Safety division, we also perform safety inspections for other climbing parks and adventure facilities, giving us unique expertise in safety at height.
