Welcome to one of the largest climbing parks in the Nordic region! Speed, excitement, and outdoor adventures await the whole family here, with so many routes that you can climb all day without repeating a single one.

All of our courses are equipped with a continuous safety line that you cannot disconnect until you are back on the ground. This makes our safety system unique and one of the best in Europe.

The climbing park is idyllically situated, surrounded by forests, mountains, and water, and offers climbing routes for all skill levels. The routes are divided into five different difficulty levels, ranging from family-friendly yellow routes for the youngest climbers to challenging black routes for the most adventurous.

Almost all the courses feature at least one zipline, ranging in length from 20 to 60 meters. If you’re looking for even more speed and height, a visit to our other section, Juvet, is an absolute must. Here you can try via ferrata or take on ziplines up to 230 meters long.

Levels of difficulty

Height requirement: Over 110 cm

The easiest difficulty level for those who can climb completely on their own.

Height requirement: Over 110 cm

Moved up from the green level. Slightly more challenging obstacles and slightly longer ziplines.

Height requirement: Over 140 cm

Gives you access to Juvet, featuring our longest ziplines and via ferrata climbing.

Height requirement: Over 160 cm

The "Rypetoppen" trail is our only black trail. This is a real test of strength.

The Spruce Wren

A popular and versatile course with creative obstacles and one of the park’s longest ziplines, offering both fun and challenges along the way.

Our only course featuring nothing but ziplines, packed with speed, excitement, and adrenaline in Juvet.

An exciting course featuring rock climbing along the mountain face and two ziplines over the water—perfect for those looking for speed and a sense of accomplishment in a slightly less challenging version of Fossekallen.

On every day we're open, our kiosk is open from 12:00 p.m., where you can enjoy juicy burgers, pizza, or hot dogs in a cozy setting.

Experience nature up close with stunning 360-degree views from our unique glass domes. We have two cozy domes perfect for couples, or our large glass dome that sleeps up to 8 people—ideal for families and groups of friends looking for a truly special overnight stay.

Simple and affordable lodging! We have six 10-person cabins and two 20-person cabins, perfect for families or groups of all sizes.

Bear cave

The "Bjørnehiene" are small cabins built into the terrain and can accommodate up to six people. They are beautifully situated with a view of Langhalstjønna, and are just a short distance from both the restroom and Langhuset (the common house).

Mountain Count

Looking for an overnight stay you’ll never forget? Try our extreme camping experience. Here, you’ll spend the night in a mountain tent suspended from a cliff face 30 meters above the water, with a view of the famous Brudesløret waterfall.

The Longhouse

Langhuset is a gathering place for everyone visiting Rypetoppen. There are plenty of benches and places to sit, whether you want to take a break from climbing, enjoy a packed lunch, or seek shelter from the weather.

FAQ

There is no age limit for climbing in the park, but our routes are categorized by height requirements.

For the easiest courses (yellow courses), you must be under 110 cm tall. These courses are built close to the ground so that an adult can walk alongside and help with equipment and obstacles.

If you are taller than 110 cm, you have access to the green and blue trails. If you are taller than 140 cm, you can also ski on our red trails and in Juvet. If you are taller than 160 cm, you have access to all the trails at Rypetoppen.

Pre-booked tickets must be redeemed by 1:00 p.m. to guarantee a harness upon arrival. After 1:00 p.m., all harnesses will be made available for walk-in sales, and you may have to wait for a harness to become available before entering the park.

Please note! Season passes/gift cards – are treated as regular tickets for drop-in visits to the park. This means that admission is not guaranteed if the park is full.

Yes, you can rebook your ticket to the climbing park up to 24 hours before arrival. This costs only 20 kr and can be selected as an add-on when you purchase your ticket on the website.

It takes a lot for us to have to close the park. During thunderstorms, we may have to close the park due to safety risks. Our Juvet area, which has the longest ziplines, may also occasionally have to be closed if the wind is too strong.

In such cases, force majeure applies, which means that no refunds will be issued for tickets that have already been purchased. However, it is not uncommon for us to reopen the park on the same day if the storm passes.

In the event of bad weather, force majeure applies. We have no control over the weather, and therefore no refunds will be issued due to bad weather.

However, it is possible to reschedule your ticket for another day. This costs only 20 kr and can be selected when you book your ticket to the park.
