A new, beautiful lavvo camp opening in 2024, located just outside the main area (about 5 minutes from other facilities and accommodations). There you’ll find two wooden lavvos set up on platforms. Each lavvo sleeps about 10 people. The camp also includes an Arctic Dome with benches inside, serving as a common area. The camp is ideal for companies, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or families/groups who would like to stay just outside the main area. There won’t be as strict a requirement for quiet early in the evening, but at the same time, it’s a much longer walk to use Rypetoppen’s facilities, such as the restrooms. There are no electrical outlets near this lavvo camp.
The campground also has benches, a fire pit, and grills. You must bring your own sleeping bag and sleeping pad.
